25 years ago, Columbia University’s premier jazz a cappella group was born. Since 1991, Uptown Vocal has been entrancing audience members with sultry solos and tight harmonies. Over the years Uptown Vocal has become an inseparable family, and it is clear that their luv is here to stay. We would like to cordially invite you to our quadrancentennial concert on April 29th at 8:00 pm in Lerner C555. Our silver jubilee will be a performance unlike any other as we will be featuring many of our classics, celebrating our 25th anniversary in formal attire, and welcoming alumni back to the stage. Uptown Vocal will be proudly introducing our newest members, Brent Morden, Martin Kyalwazi, and Jackie Brown while simultaneously saying goodbye to our two graduating seniors, Linda Cartolano and Lizzy Karnaukh.
