At this hands-on workshop, you will learn to find and channel your ki (heart, mind and spirit) and hara (body’s center) through the art of Taiko, Japanese folk drumming. Creative director Shih-wei Wu will demonstrate and lead ki-ai exercises, where your voice becomes the gateway to find your inner strength and express your power through drumming. No prior music or dance experience is necessary; all ages welcome.
