The Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh Presents
The Music of Downton Abbey
Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 7:30PM

East Liberty Presbyterian Church
116 S. Highland Avenue
Pittsburgh, PA 15206

The Mendelssohn Choir and Music Director Matthew Mehaffey open the 2016-2017 season with “The Music of Downton Abbey." The chorus along with orchestra and two of Pittsburgh’s favorite actresses, Helena Ruoti and Erika Strasburg playing fictional visitors to Downton Abbey, will guide attendees through a musical tour of post-Edwardian England by pairing musical selections with memorable events from the Downton Abbey series. Costumes are welcome, and there's an audience participation aspect as well! East Liberty Presbyterian is on the corner of S. Highland and Penn Avenues. Street parking is available on the streets surrounding the church, and there is a lot behind the Carnegie Library. The accessible entrance is located directly on S. Highland Avenue. For questions about accessibility of specific venues or performances, please contact Mary Ann Lapinski at or call 412-926-2488.
