Art in Heaven is a film by photographer Z.S. Rosenfeld who traveled across Europe capturing sacred architectural icons of lost Jewish communities. Asefa’s Gibraltar-born guitarist and singer, Elie Massias creates an improvised soundtrack to the film with guitar, voice, saxophone, keyboard, and looping recorder, bringing these disappearing, sacred structures back to life.
