The recent women’s march and opposition to the President’s Executive Order banning immigrants to the U.S. has unleashed activism across the nation. Please join us for a town hall discussion on how to harness this activism to build a new movement for social change. Participants invited include the national leadership of the Women’s March on Washington, local grassroots activists, student activists from Barnard, and activist extraordinaire, Dolores Huerta. (List in formation) Dolores, a documentary chronicling Huerta’s lifelong commitment to activism will follow.
(You will need a ticket for the film to remain following the town hall.)
