For the Spring 2017 season, Columbia Ballet Collaborative is excited to announce new works by Barry Kerollis, an award-winning choreographer and renowned instructor based out of New York City and Philadelphia, and Craig Salstein, soloist with American Ballet Theatre, along with alumni pieces by Caitlin Dieck Locke, graduate of Columbia University’s School of General Studies and former Columbia Ballet Collaborative dancer, and Richard Isaac, Columbia University graduate. We also look forward to presenting excerpts of George Balanchine's Serenade, along with revisiting works by Emery LeCrone, choreographer & artistic director of Emery LeCrone DANCE, and Claudia Schreier, recipient of the second annual Virginia B. Toulmin Fellowship for Women Choreographers at the Center for Ballet and the Arts at NYU, to celebrate our 10th anniversary season. Founded in 2007 by five professional ballet dancers enrolled at Columbia University, CBC is comprised of students from all of the University’s undergraduate colleges and affiliates.
