A centennial birthday concert celebrating the life, legacy, words, and deeds of President John F. Kennedy. President Kennedy’s life was full of music. It entertained, moved, and inspired him. He was an advocate for The Arts. Without John F. Kennedy we would not have The National Endowment for the Arts. This concert celebrates his life with music from his life, career, and legacy interspersed with actual audio from Kennedy’s speeches. Featuring Lynne Jordan, Liz Mandeville, Mark Madsen, Heather Moran, Bob Moreen, Daryl Nitz, Skokie Idol winner Yaz Shawamreh, and the Queen of Chicago Cabaret, Denise Tomasello. Music direction by Andrew Blendermann, with Jim Cox on bass, and Phil Gratteau on drums
