Join us to learn about the history of some important immigrant groups to Boise, including Chinese, German and Basque and make a unique print in this downtown Boise neighborhood. Meeting place: bench in front of the Basque Museum at 607 Grove Street. Select from the following dates and times.

PRINT BOISE 2017 is a historic walking tour and printmaking adventure headed by Wingtip Press and Preservation Idaho architectural historian Amy Pence-Brown.The first half of the workshop will be spent exploring historic sights and hearing tales of Boise's past in the downtown area and the second half making plein art prints of architectural rubbings on site! No previous art experience required. Families welcome (best fit for ages 6 and up). Wear walking shoes, dress for the weather and bring a bottle of water. Each participant will receive a print to take home and keep and the others will end up in the City of Boise Arts & History Department public art collection and be exhibited at MING Studios for First Thursday in August.
