Alexander Paris on writing the show: "this is my first attempt at deconstructing traditional and downtown theater while also exploring what it's like to use bad theater conventions in an aesthetic/structural form. It's also an attempt for me to celebrate areligious faith (theater, synchronized swimming, glassblowing, *simulated* orgies) and queer community. A bunch of synchronized swimmers get on stage and over the course of the play go from talking about swimming to talking about everything else that they can conceivably think about. It gets messy. It gets confusing. It gets meta. Super meta. It's basically like my Einstein on the Beach but shorter and not as good with more house music... So maybe not Einstein on the Beach at all."

Tickets: $15 in advance, $18 at the door, $12 students / seniors / ID NYC
