The Mulleavy Sisters of Rodarte
Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 7:00PM

Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Music Center
129 West 67th Street
New York, NY 10023

Don't miss this exciting opportunity to spend an evening with visionary fashion designers, and first time filmmakers Kate and Laura Mulleavey - co-founders of the CFDA winning conceptual luxury brand Rodarte. The duo will discuss their multi-hyphenate careers, creative inspirations and their upcoming feature film debut Woodshock, described as a hypnotic exploration of isolation, paranoia, and grief that exists in a dream-world all its own. Woodshock transcends genre to become a singularly thrilling cinematic experience that marks the arrival of the Mulleavy siblings as a major new voice in film. Kate and Laura Mulleavy have collaborated on special projects with Frank Gehry and Gustavo Dudamel; Darren Aronofsky on costumes for the film Black Swan; Benjamin Millepied on costumes for the New York City Ballet and the L.A. Dance Project; and artist Catherine Opie.
