Skokie Theatre Executive Director Wendy Kaplan was trapped for ten days in Puerto Rico after hurricane Maria ravaged the U. S. territory. She witnessed first-hand how badly the inhabitants of the island need medical supplies, food, water, shelter, and the other basics of survival in order to rebuild their lives and communities.

Skokie Theatre is proud to present some of our favorite performers, who donating their time and talents to raise money for humanitarian relief. This benefit concert features Judy Rossignuolo-Rice, Bernard Rice, Carla Gordon, Russ Goeltenbodt, Jan Slavin, and Denise McGowan Tracy with special guests Carmen Severino (a singer of Puerto Rican heritage), Skokie Idol finalist Julianne Arvizu, and renowned singer Takesha Meshé Kizart (Sister Africa).

Please join us for evening of reflection, song, and commitment, and join together to help the men, women, and children in desperate need on the island.
