This ambitious concert of music for winds includes Mahler’s Um Mitternacht, the largest of the Ruckert-Lieder set, featuring Frost School’s vocal professor Robynne Redmon, as well as Schoenberg’s Theme and Variations, Stravinsky’s Octet, Dahl’s Sinfonietta, and Schmitt’s Dionysiaques.
