A rare opportunity to learn about space from the insiders. Have you ever wondered what it's like to live and work in space? Or to be an astronaut and responsible for the International Space Station (ISS), its overall mission success, the safety of its crew and station? Or to handle the complex challenges of one of the most ambitious international collaborations (involving 22 member countries) ever attempted? Tonight you'll hear from the two people best able to provide the answers. USMC Col. Randolph “Komrade” Bresnik, is a NASA astronaut who, in December 2017, returned from 139 days in space as Commander of the International Space Station (ISS). Rebecca M. Bresnik Esq., Associate Chief Counsel for NASA, is the lead attorney for the ISS. The Bresniks will share their experiences, answer your questions, and provide you with an opportunity to take a photo or get an autograph. Intended for ages high school and up (see 6/29/18 for our family-friendly event).
