HOME CHURCH PLAY
------------------------------

By JACOB PERKINS
Directed by LEE SUNDAY EVANS

-----------
ABOUT
-----------

It’s the final weeks of the 20th century in The Deep South, and Kid watches as the congregants prepare for the end of the world. The world ends, and Kid moves to The City, but everywhere he turns, he's reminded of the people he thought he’d left behind. Spanning twenty years, the triptych HOME CHURCH PLAY explores the ways our past collides with our present as it asks: What is a home? A church? A play?
