Person Place Thing (December) (Fall 18)
Hosted by the New York Times Magazine's celebrated Ethicist columnist Randy Cohen
Monday, December 3, 2018 at 7:30PM

Irish Arts Center
553 West 51st Street
New York, NY 10019

Humorist Randy Cohen joins us for a live recording of his broadcast/podcast, an interview show based on this idea: people are particularly engaging when they speak not directly about themselves, but about something they care about. Guests talk about one person, one place, and one thing that are important to them. The result? Surprising stories from great talkers.

Guests are drawn from a range of New York life including politicians, artists, thinkers, and academics. Past guests have included Ta-Nehisi Coates, Maya Lin, A.O. Scott, Jonathan Safran Foer, and Julianne Moore. This season, we welcome Joe Restuccia, executive director of Clinton Housing Development Company, to share his encyclopedic knowledge of our historic Hell's Kitchen neighborhood.
