Students will spend a week with Winnie the Pooh, Christopher Robin and friends as they use their actor’s tools (body, mind, voice, and imagination) to create the characters of lovable hundred acre wood. Through theatre and hands on visual art experiences students will bring these stories to life. At the last class, family and friends are invited to join the group to watch the creative process in action.,Drawing on an array of stories from across the globe, students will develop the tools necessary to tell dynamic stories on stage. With an infusion of acting and global visual arts, students will work as an ensemble to create original theatre inspired by the rich history of storytelling from across the world, without even leaving the classroom!
