This month at Guild Hall Game Night we are playing Welcome To, a new game designed by Benoit Turpin. In Welcome To, players compete to build the perfect neighborhood. Welcome To is a "Roll and Write" game, which essentially means it is played almost entirely with paper and pencil. Each player stats with an identical blank slate neighborhood that is filled out as the game progresses. Will you focus on pools, public parks, businesses, or new estate contracts? Hopefully you can fit in a bit of everything, but how you design your perfect neighborhood is up to you! This game is particularly interesting because instead of splitting into groups to play, everyone in the room will instead be playing one giant game of Welcome To together.
