This is a one-time theatre intensive from 12:30 - 2:30 pm.

This class is part of our Workshops and Intensives program. Workshops and intensives are short-term, specialized classes led by local and visiting artists that help participants sharpen their skills, simply have some fun, or try something new!

The awe-inspiring worlds of science and theatre converge in this one-of-a-kind intensive! Participants work with WCT and Converge Theatre Project* instructors to discover science-based topics both through hands-on projects and by bringing these topics to life with theatre games and exercises, creating an active and exciting learning experience. For budding mad scientists and stars of the stage alike, this program is bound to be a BLAST!

*Converge Theatre Project is a collaborative and interdisciplinary community comprised of artists, scientists, educators, and researchers from Watertown Children’s Theatre, Lynch School of Education, the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences, and the Weston Observatory at Boston College. Through its commitment to social justice, the Converge Theatre Project aims to utilize the power of theatre in education to create and produce new theatrical works that get youth excited about and confident in their participation in the sciences.
