Newly married, newly moved, and with a newborn on the way, Charlie is scrambling to get everything ready for the arrival of his daughter - all the while questioning the choices that brought him to this moment. While clearing out boxes from his soon-to-be nursery, he finds a trove of handwritten letters from his past. The letters come to life and force Charlie to (finally) reply, make peace with the present, and embrace his new reality. Drawn from actual letters from composer/lyricist Creighton Irons’ life, Lost Letters is a love letter to a vanishing art; a celebration of the journey into parenthood; and a meditation on how we simultaneously let go of the past and still carry it with us.
The BPP lobby will open an hour in advance; if the show has not sold out in advance any remaining tickets may be purchased at the BPP box office counter at that time. House opens half an hour in advance. Refunds or exchanges can only be made up to 24 hours in advance of showtime.
Runtime: 80 minutes. Performance includes mild language and haze effects.
