COLLABORATIVE PLAYMAKING WITH WILLIAM YOUMANS Saturday, September 28: 10am – 3pm Registration: $25.00 For all ages Led by Broadway Actor William Youmans, Collaborative Playmaking questions the meaning behind text though improvisational exercises, theatrical form, and collaborative skill. Given a number of meaningless lines, participants break into groups and devise a scenario in which the lines could be justified. Each group then collaboratively rehearses, stages, and shares their scene with the entire ensemble; receiving feedback to further develop their work. All participants are invited to observe the previous night workshop, Musical Theater Masterclass with William Youmans.
