This class will teach the fundamentals of mosaic arts. Learn how to create mosaics from a variety of media including ceramic, pottery, colored glass tiles, and stained-glass sheets. Explore basic design principles, color theory, materials, and techniques. Discover how to cut and shape tesserae using a variety of tools. This is a great class for beginners and intermediate students who want to further their skills in creating mosaics. This class is suitable for any experience or wellness level. All supplies included in the cost of the class; however, students may provide their own substrates and glass tiles if desired.
