Exploring the theme of "Journey" through a series of solos, duets and scenes put together into an original song cycle. The class design offers students multiple “in-roads” to the material, acting, singing and movement. Students will explore diverse material from different composers and time periods, learning how different artists have approached the theme of journeys. Students will walk away with 2 contrasting songs in their song book. The class will culminate in the sharing of their original song cycle.
