More about the play-in-progress…

The Girl Scouts Play (working title) is an expressionist piece of theatre that follows the life of a woman named Jessie from early adulthood into her middle age. As a former girl scout, the philosophy that every deed will result in a badge has been ingrained in her life. However, as time progresses and her circumstances spiral out of her control, she discovers that life’s most meaningful moments are not always deemed "badge worthy” by society. The wild ride towards self-actualization is accompanied by heartbreaking commentary from a Cookie Mogul chorus of Girl Scouts. Ages 13+
