DRESS FOR SUCCESS
THE ART OF DRESSING FOR AUDITIONS AND INTERVIEWS
Wednesday, February 9, 2011
1835 14th Street, NW
Metro: U Street/Cardoza
First impressions matter. Not sure how to dress for an audition? Worried about the image you’re projecting? Can the way you look really help you get that job?
Join costume designer, Deb Sivigny, to learn how to select clothing that complements your body type and that will help you to be taken seriously. Deb works for Stacy London’s Style for Hire helping clients to select body appropriate clothing that makes them look good and feel great. In addition, she also teaches courses in costume design and history for Georgetown University’s program in Theatre and Performance Studies as well as managing the program’s costume shop.
This two hour interactive workshop will help you gain insider tips on how to dress for success at both general auditions and interviews.
Participants are encouraged to come to the workshop dressed for an audition or interview.
Light refreshments will be served.
