Sean-Nós (“old style”) dancing is a traditional form of Irish solo dancing which works closely with the rhythms of Irish music. Similar to such American styles as tap and clogging, it has been argued that sean-nós is the oldest form of Irish dance.

Students will learn a full set of steps that can be danced to traditional Irish music. Additionally, learners will experiment with steps and rhythms of their own creation—this emphasis on creativity and spontaneity is what makes sean-nós dancing truly unique!
