A rising star with sparkling talent in the classical piano world, Lola Astanova will be visiting and playing in concert in Iowa for the first time. Lola has a great appreciation of all genres of music and works to involve people of all ages to participate in that appreciation.
Lola made her major media debut on NBC’s The Today Show and has recently performed at the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts.
This concert is presented by West Music, the University of Iowa and Steinway and Sons as part of the 2011 Steinway Piano Extravaganza.
