See a preview screening of the 2012 Sundance Film Festival special jury prize-winning documentary, “Searching for Sugar Man” – a story of a South African musical phenomenon and two fans’ struggle to find out what really happened to their musician hero. Then listen in on a conversation with New York Times chief pop music critic Jon Pareles, the film’s director, Malik Bendjelloul, and its compelling subject, the singer/songwriter Rodriguez, who will perform a number from the film. “Searching for Sugar Man” tells the story of a South African musical phenomenon and two fans’ struggle to find out what really happened to their musician hero.
