Take the C or E train to 50th St (8th Ave), the 1 train to 50th St (Broadway), or the N, R, or Q train to 49th St (7th Ave). Walk west towards 11th Ave. It is roughly a 10minute walk. A parking garage is located on W. 51st between 10th and 11th Ave.
We celebrate the fourth annual IAC PoetryFest by expanding our offerings and growing the line-up of terrific energies at work in and around contemporary Irish poetry. This year, the festival reaches exciting new horizons, as it considers the rich relationships between Irish poets and their peers and counterparts in the American scene.
We once again launch the festival with Favorite Poems, featuring those influential, best-loved works, personally chosen and read by participating poets and some very special guests.
IAC PoetryFest 2012 features a special tribute to the distinguished and influential poet John Montague.
Featured poets: Ciaran Berry, Timothy Donnelly, Theo Dorgan, John Montague, Leanne O’Sullivanl, and Brenda Shaughnessy.Curated by Belinda McKeon and Aengus Woods.
