Numbers Game: Counting on the Jewish Voter
Bill Schneider and Nate Silver in conversation with Jon Keller
Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 8:00PM

Temple Israel - Levi Auditorium
477 Longwood Ave.
Boston, MA 02215

How will Jews vote this year and will it have any impact on whether Obama or Romney is our next president? These questions have already produced headlines and bold predictions, but what do the numbers really tell us? CNN’s Bill Schneider and New York Times political analyst Nate Silver talk about the history of Jewish voting and whether this year will represent a dramatic break with the past. They will also discuss other hot button issues and how statistical analysis is transforming modern politics. Bill Schneider has been CNN’s senior political analyst since 1990 and is well known for his dissection of voting trends and election polls. Nate Silver is the author of the New York Times blog FiveThirtyEight: Nate Silver’s Political Calculus. His new book is The Signal and the Noise: Why Most Predictions Fail – But Some Don’t. Their conversation will be moderated by WBZ-TV News political analyst Jon Keller.
