The Practice of Fiction: A Story Workshop with Clyde Moneyhun
Thursday, October 18, 2012 at 12:00PM

The Community Library, Large Conference Room
415 Spruce Avenue North
Ketchum, ID 83340

Thurs, Oct 18, 12-3pm, $50 per student, Location: Large Conference Room at The Community Library in Ketchum

Come write a story. Boise State professor Clyde Moneyhun, author of Crafting Fiction: In Theory, In Practice, will first lead participants through a series of brainstorming exercises keyed to the elements of fiction. The exercises will help writers more fully imagine their fictional characters and the worlds they inhabit. Then, re-thinking / re-writing exercises will help the writers re-imagine elements of their stories in unexpected ways. Any writer, from beginner to professional, can emerge from the workshop with useful new tools, and-just maybe- a new story.
