This is a spoken word event; featuring the work of incarcerated juveniles that have
participated in the Spirit Awakening Foundation’s creative writing and
life skills programs in the County’s juvenile halls and probation camps.
The readings will be performed by Spirit Awakening students along
with guest artists Frances Fisher, Debra Wilson, Esai Morales, Olympic
Champion Stephani Victor, Rev. Michael Beckwith, Michael Colyar and
others
