Show Description: ''Puppet Playtime'' is an interactive performance for very young children and their grown-ups. Join two friendly performers and their furry pal Bella Monster on a high-flying adventure filled with stories, songs, and lots of fun. Then, see ''The Very Hungry Caterpillar'' brought to life with a colorful mini-puppet show. A perfect puppetry introduction for our youngest audiences!

Live Music, Mixed Puppetry Styles. Recommended for ages 5 and below.

About the Performers: Phil Berman is a singer-songwriter, actor, and puppeteer with a BFA in Theater Arts from Boston University. Phil has performed in shows across the Boston area and the Northeast. At Puppet Showplace Theater, he is a co-creator of Puppet Playtime, and has also played music for several touring puppetry productions. When not performing, Phil directs the music program at Rock and Roll Daycare in Cambridge.

Brenda Huggins is an educator and theatre artist who has taught puppetry classes to students of all ages throughout greater Boston area. She received her MA in theatre Education at Emerson college after studying vocal performance at Western Connecticut State University. Her work as a director, costume designer, and solo performer has been seen throughout the New England region. Brenda now resides in New York City where she works for Opera America.
