The Frost Chamber Orchestra and DMA conducting candidate Andrés Jaime explore great music from the First Viennese School (Mozart’s Overture to The Magic Flute and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 1) and also premiere a Bassoon Concerto by acclaimed composer Dennis Kam, featuring master bassoonist and Frost faculty Luciano Magnanini. The smaller instrumentation of a chamber orchestra enables individual players to shine, and audiences to delight in their nimbleness and clarity.
