ASCENDance is an interdisciplinary collaboration choreographed by Jan Bartoszek, with folded paper structures by sculptor Barbara Cooper, video projections by artist Petra Bachmaier of luftwerk and an original score by L.A.-based composer Matthew Ferraro. ASCENDance explores transformation and the challenges posed to self-knowledge by the frenzied condition of contemporary life.
