Sean-nós dancing is a percussive, free-form style of traditional Irish dancing with roots in the west of Ireland. Playful, rhythmic, and spontaneous, sean-nós dancing works closely with the rhythms of Irish dance music, and is accessible to learners of all ages and skill levels. In this course, you will be taught the basics of the Connemara style of sean-nós dancing, with a focus on reel steps. Each class will build on the previous week, so that by the end of the course, you'll have a set of steps that you can perform to traditional music.
