The Vagina Monologues is a play inspired by interviews with hundreds of women about their vaginas. The play addresses every aspect of the complexities surrounding women's sexualities and their relationships with their own bodies. It confronts the stigma surrounding discussions of sexual assault, trans and queer identities, racialized womanhood, abuse, and the word 'vagina.'
