Clark Members OLLI Course: The Four Seasons, Part Two
Thursday, March 14, 2013 at 1:00PM

at The Clark
225 South St
Williamstown, MA 01267

Michael Cassin, director of the Clark's Center for Education in the Visual Arts, presents "Été Etc.: The Seasons in the Seventeenth and Eighteenth Centuries," part two in a series of four lectures on the four seasons. The changing times of year have been an inspiration for landscape painters for centuries, and the activities associated with the different seasons have also been fruitful themes for visual artists to explore. This series of lectures examines how artists from the Renaissance to the Modern Era have responded to the subject in ways that reflect their timeframe and their historical contexts.

This series was organized by the Clark in association with the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Berkshire Community College. OLLI and Clark members may register separately for individual sessions or sign up in advance for all four. The cost per session is $10.00 for guests and $7.50 for members .
