Composer/orchestrator/arranger Vince Mendoza has earned six Grammy Awards and 25 Grammy nominations with such artists as Björk, Chaka Khan, Al Jarreau, Bobby McFerrin, Sting and Joni Mitchell. His music is often described as abstract impressionism—a sophisticated blend of chamber music and jazz, a la Gil Evans.
