Take the C or E train to 50th St (8th Ave); the 1 train to 50th St (Broadway); or the N, R, or Q train to 49th St (7th Ave). Walk west towards 11th Ave. It is roughly a 10 minute walk. A parking garage is located on W. 51st between 10th and 11th Ave.
Meets with Irish Mandolin every other Thursday beginning September 19.
Students must provide their own instrument. For information about instrument rentals and purchases visit irishartscenter.org.
Learn tuning, picking, fingering and holding of a mandolin, as well as practice common scales. As classes progress, students will learn tunes with various types of ornamentation.
