In the early 1960's shortly after Edie Windsor & Thea Speyer met in New York’s West Village, they become “engaged” even though the idea of marriage for gay and lesbian couples was unthinkable at the time. New York would not grant those rights for another 40 years and the federal government held out even longer. Little did they know their love affair would change history. Tickets are $12 in advance, $15 at the door, $10 students / seniors.
