LIFEDesigns & Indiana University Art Museum Present
2014 Art of Chocolate
Sunday, January 26, 2014 at 5:30PM
IU Art Museum
1133 E 7th St.
The Art of Chocolate is a fundraising gala held annually to raise funds for the people with disabilities that LIFEDesigns serves in South-Central Indiana. In its tenth year, the Art of Chocolate will bring back some old favorites as well as showcasing new and exciting entertainment. Indiana University Jacobs School of Music Alumnus Rusty Shields will perform live. This year, we also will be joined by special guest Del Sroufe, cookbook author of “Forks Over Knives.”
Hors d’oeuvres, desserts and beverages will be presented by The Rail, Scholar’s Inn, Bloomington Country Club, Peacetree Mountain Truffles, Oliver Winery, Malibu Grill, KRC and more! A silent auction will feature traditional items such as event tickets and restaurant gift certificates.
However, part of what makes this event unique is its emphasis on local artwork. Artists will display and sell their artwork in the silent auction and profits from these sales will be split between LIFEDesigns and the artists. This is great way to support the local art community as well as LIFEDesigns. If you’ve ever thought about attending this gala event, make this the year! The Art of Chocolate is part of the 2014 Week of Chocolate.
This event is presented by the IU Art Museum and LIFEDesigns. Premier Sponsors include FinePrint, Oliver Winery, Lamar Outdoor Advertising and the Bloomington Moose Lodge #1081. For more information please visit www.weekofchocolate.com.
