		GARY GREEN, conductor
ROSS HARBAUGH, cello
While Maestro Thomas Sleeper takes a sabbatical this semester, celebrated guest conductors will lead the Frost Symphony Orchestra. For this mid-season concert, critically acclaimed conductor Gary Green deftly guides the Frost Symphony Orchestra on an inspired musical journey featuring works by Anton Dvořák and Igor Stravinsky. Frost faculty artist Ross Harbaugh joins the orchestra as featured soloist on Dvořák’s Cello Concerto in B minor, Op. 104, B. 191. Then the spotlight shines on Green and the highly accomplished string, brass, woodwind and percussion students of the Frost Symphony Orchestra as they perform a commanding interpretation of Stravinsky’s masterpiece, Le Sacre du Printemps (“The Rite of Spring”), 100 years after its premiere.
