Within Arm's Reach tells the story of three generations of the McLaughlin women bearing witness to the cycle of life, and connected by the bonds of tragedy and hope. As Catharine, the matriarch, realizes she has been too focused on the past, she takes steps to ensure that her family has a future without her. Based on the novel by Ann Napolitano, this original stage adaptation is about strengthening the roots before the tree can flourish.
