This two day class is designed for those who would like to learn calligraphy but don’t know where to begin. With step-by-step procedures and simple exercises, Wendy will introduce you to the many ways letters are made beautiful.
Wendy Watson-Diedrick has been a freelance calligrapher, designer and illustrator for many years. She began her study of calligraphy over 30 years ago, and has taught several classes along the way ~ including workshops at Sun Valley Center during the 90’s when she resided in Ketchum. Wendy’s work currently includes painting calligraphy and murals on walls at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego, CA, where she currently resides. She is an active member of San Diego Fellow Calligraphers, as well as Society for Calligraphy in Los Angeles, and Bow Valley Calligraphy Guild in Calgary, AB, Canada.
