New York City high school students get a chance to engage school leaders on the topic of student engagement: what makes them feel connected and motivated to succeed in school – and what doesn’t. Deputy Chancellor Dorita Gibson and City Council member Daniel Dromm, who is chairman of the Education Committee, join experienced educators on the panel, ready to field the student journalists’ questions. WNYC’s education reporters and Radio Rookies will be there too. Join us at what may be the city’s first student-led press conference, ever. OPEN TO ALL BUT RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED
