The gate opens each day at 8:30 am. Horse show events take place all day. The premier competition on Sunday, August 31, the $250,000 Grand Prix, begins at 2:00 pm and may end as early as 3:30 pm.

General admission is $10 per person or $20 per car-load for every day except for Monday, August 25 where the general admission is free. General admission for senior citizens is also free Tuesday, August 26 through Thursday, August 28. Patrons purchasing tickets by end of business August 15 for the Grandstands will receive one complimentary One Day Car-load pass per order - additional pass(es) will be included for orders of 5 or more tickets.

All general seating, including Grandstand seating is free Sunday, August 24 through Saturday, August 30. On Grand Prix Sunday, August 31, tickets for Grandstand seating must be purchased. Tickets for the Grandstands on Sunday, August 31 are $25 for bench seats and $35 for premium seats.

The Hampton Classic will take place rain or shine and there will be no refunds for inclement weather.

No Alcoholic beverages may be brought onto the horse show grounds. There is a bar on site for purchasing alcoholic beverages.

No dogs are allowed in any of the seating areas and food court areas. It is advised that patrons do not bring their dogs to the horse show.
