Gary Wright, best known as 70's rock icon and "Dream Weaver", Wright has completed his autobiography entitled Dream Weaver, which will be published by Penguin Random House in September of 2014. In the book Wright covers his rise to prominence as a singer and songwriter during the Golden Age of Rock and his journey alongside his close friend and initial spiritual mentor George Harrison.
To coincide with the publication of his book, Wright is readying for a new tour. Accompanied by a pianist, Gary's set will include “Dream Weaver,” “Love is Alive,” “Really Wanna Know You,” material from his “Best of the Dream Weaver” album and his most recent release “Connected,”as well as a never performed song written by Wright and George Harrison entitled “To Discover Yourself.” In between songs Wright will weave passages from his autobiography over a slide show of never before seen photos and videos of him and George together along with images spanning Gary’s magnificent career.
