From Cork via Harlem comes Maeve Higgins, star of page and stage, with an all-new variety show featuring an eclectic and invigorating clutch of guests. Only the wisest voices, freshest thinkers, funniest moments, and best stories will make it past her gates into One Night in Heaven.
Bursting onto the New York comedy scene this year with shows across the city and appearances on Comedy Central’s Inside Amy Schumer and National Geographic’s Startalk, Higgins is the most exciting comedy voice to emerge from Ireland in a generation. She has just been named a 2015 Woman of Influence by The Irish Voicenewspaper for her comedy work as well as her writing—Higgins is author of the critically acclaimed essay collection We Have a Good Time, Don’t We?
One Night in Heaven features a different theme each month—October sees us savoring comedy and lore around food, November pinches our cheeks as we pinch our pennies and get down to real-talk about money, and December sees love rule the day...and night.
