Directed by Natasha Middleton

Starring ELEN HARUTUNYAN as “Carmen” GRIGORI ARAKELYAN as “Don Jose” DAMARA TITMUS as “Micaëla” JEKYNS PELAEZ as “Escamillo” FIRE! LOVE! JEALOUSY! BETRAYAL! "Carmen" based on George Bizet's Opera. Pacific Ballet Dancer Theatre is returning to the El Portal Theatre with its full production of “Carmen.” A neoclassical ballet with flamenco and drama all rolled into one. Seductive, Wild and Contagious “Natasha Middleton’s “Carmen” is a powerful, passionate and exciting ballet!” Hollywood Times “If given an opportunity, see the Pacific Ballet Dance Theatre, you won’t be sorry!” Stan Mazin -Grigware Reviews This is the celebrated story of Carmen, a sultry, cigar maker from Seville, and a loyal, naive soldier named Don José. Carmen loves life, passion and men, but most of all, her freedom. Don José falls madly in love with Carmen, but is exceptionally jealous of anyone who goes near her. The unfolding drama also includes the tender-hearted Micaëla, who is engaged to Don José, and Escamillo, Spain’s most famous toreador, who is also enamored with Carmen’s sensuality. This two-act ballet includes notable melodies, such as the March of the Toreador, Flower Song, La Taverna, and the seductive Habanera. Visit us at: Pacificballetdancetheatre.org
