Texasssippi Soul Man’ Danny Brooks & Lil Miss Debi have been traveling all over North America as a duo for the past 6 years with their original blend of Southern Soul/Blues/Americana/Gospel, performing at Festivals ‘Austin City Limits,’ Southside Shuffle Blues & Jazz, in Canada, Dream Café in BC, Sand Dollar Lounge in Las Vegas, Vermont Jazz Center, House of Blues in New Orleans, and the Shelby County Arts Council in Alabama . Recently Brooks received the Blues Hall of Fame Award in Clarksdale MS for ‘Great Blues Artist’ from Texas’, and has multiple Juno(Canadian Grammy’s)/Maple Blues Awards nominations and several Real Blues Awards.

Danny Brooks & Lil Miss Debi constantly go into prisons/rehabs/halfway houses and recently received his latest blues award at the Men’s Unit at Ocala Prison. Brooks received a Ministry of the Solicitor General Award for his years of volunteering in prisons. On every tour they go into at least a dozen prisons/halfway houses to share hope and music.
